Dead-Week
We have came to the week before finals. Also known as "dead week," this is a week where the students are supposed to take this week to finish projects or papers for finals. I believe professors are told to not assign new assignments during this week. I know many professors sometimes cancel classes during this week. Some decided to have review days for the exam next week. I appreciate both ways. Because if you are studying the material on your own or with the class, it's beneficial both ways. I also appreciate the time professors put aside to ensure you are prepared for exams or projects. I like to go to class to learn exactly what will be on the test. This is helpful when studying to know what is essential and what doesn't matter.
Currently, I am working on a couple papers that are due for the next week. I have two exams next week. Unfortunately, they are on Thursday and Friday, so I must stay for the week. It is good because I need a lot of time to study for one of my exams. After all, I need to do well on it. I hope everyone can take their exams confident and feel good after taking them. There is no better feeling than studying for an exam than going in there and feeling like you got a good grade.
I encourage you all to take your time studying and doing your work because it can be overwhelming and intimidating when starting. Remember to take time for other activities, such as walking, playing sports, or even taking a quick power nap. Good luck with your finals, and finish the year strong.
I have enjoyed reading your blogs and relating to nearly all of them in some way. I wish you luck during finals week!
ReplyDeleteHi Chase! It's so funny that everyone is writing about dead week! However, that is understandable because there is really nothing else to write about. It stinks that you have finals on Thursday and Friday but it will be nice to finally be done. I will leave campus Tuesday because that is my last final. Goodluck with your final exams!
